It has gotten to the point that even though we'll likely never get to see Zack Snyder's five-part DC Extended Universe series, he has revealed enough about what he planned to do that we can sort of figure out in our minds how it would've played out.

While some details were not necessarily major, it turns out Snyder might've just revealed a huge would-be event surrounding Batman's fate.

A fan recently shared fan art of Superman carrying Batman's lifeless body, suggesting "what we may have seen in the 5 story arc." Turns out, he may have been spot-on. Snyder replied to the piece on Vero with a very casual "of course."

This comment from Snyder goes along with what he has teased before about the possible deaths of main characters.

The fan tagged the tweet with #ReleaseTheSnyderCut, a social media campaign run by Snyder fans to convince Warner Bros. to release his cut of Justice League to see what the director's original plans were.

It is unlikely that it will be released anytime soon, however. Fans will just have to continue to see what further information Snyder reveals.
