Pottery Barn Is Launching a Harry Potter Holiday Collection
Many Harry Potter fans dream of spending the holidays at Hogwarts, even if it would mean wearing one of Mrs. Weasley's homemade sweaters. But you don't have to apparate to the wizarding world to celebrate the season like Harry. As Popsugar reports, Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids, and PBTeen have debuted a Harry Potter Christmas collection that will make any muggle's home feel more magical for the holidays.
The new line is stuffed with decorations inspired by iconography from J.K. Rowling's beloved book series. Plush versions of Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Draco—each decked out in their school robes—are available as Christmas ornaments. You can also trim your tree with deathly hallows and golden snitch ornaments and embellish your fireplace with stockings inspired by the houses of Hogwarts.
Many of the items in the collection are appropriate to leave up past January. Whimsical lighting, like snitch string lights, a floating candle, and a "lumos" lamp, can magically transfigure an ordinary bedroom into a Gryffindor dormitory. In terms of kitchen wares, there's a festive Hogwarts crest mug and Hogwarts house tumblers—perfect for drinking butterbeer hot or cold.
